Cartel Violence in Acapulco
The CJNG recently admitted to a series of violent incidents in Acapulco, Guerrero, where three dismembered bodies were found. One body was discovered skinned and left near Hospital del Quemado, while the other two were located on the Acapulco-Zihuatanejo highway. The crime scenes contained narcomessages threatening public officials, particularly Security Chief Omar García Harfuch. On the same night, two directors at a local rehab center in El Coloso were executed by gunmen. These attacks occurred shortly after the arrest of the cartel leader “El Chambitas.” The authorities have not yet responded to these events.

Cartel Violence Escalates in Hermosillo
In Hermosillo, Sonora, a disturbing incident unfolded as members of the Matasala criminal organization dismembered a person known as “El Rojo,” suspected to be an operative of the rival Salazar group. Reports suggest that this brutal act was a warning, as El Rojo was suspected of trying to infiltrate the Matasala cartel under false pretenses.
