Comayagua, Honduras – Seven police officers, including five women and two men, were killed and more than twenty others injured when a semi-trailer truck slammed into the side of a police bus on the hazardous ‘El Rodeo’ hill, one of the most dangerous sections of the CA-5 highway.
Approximately 35 officers were aboard the bus returning after collecting police uniforms when the truck reportedly crossed into their lane, causing the violent crash.
