The site of the Chaqui’an massacre on Guam in August 1944 during World War II. The film records the horrific scene in which 45 Chamorro men were forced to carry ammunition and supplies to a former Japanese military headquarters before being beheaded by Japanese soldiers. The Japanese government now officially attends ceremonies held at the location to acknowledge the history of the tragedy and express condolences.
