A tragic road accident occurred on the internal alternate route in Buenaventura on Sunday, July 19, when a motorcycle collided with a tractomula truck. The crash resulted in one man dying instantly at the scene, with his head and shoulder run over by the truck wheels. The woman passenger survived but sustained severe injuries, her leg completely crushed by the truck. She was rushed to Cali for emergency medical treatment.
