A 19-year-old stole a motorcycle and crashed at around 80mph without wearing a helmet. He sustained a traumatic left below-knee amputation with visible tibia, an intact knee with exposed muscle including the gastrocnemius, a left index finger amputation, and a large laceration across the neck. The trachea remained intact.
