On a Saturday morning (Feb 15), a man’s body was found buried with stab wounds to the stomach outside a house in Vila Mandacaru, Southeast Teresina, Brazil. Traces of blood were found both inside and outside the house, prompting suspicions of foul play. Firefighters uncovered the body after a notification from the Military Police.
The homeowner claimed that Francisco de Assis da Silva Borges, aged 37, was the perpetrator of the crime. Borges was later located by the police near a wooded area, where he admitted to the murder. The victim, known only as “Lourão” to the locals, has not been officially identified yet.
