Two young men from the municipality of Chimá, Córdoba, were seriously injured in a traffic accident on the road connecting Ciénaga de Oro and Punta de Yánez while riding an NKD motorcycle.
The victims were initially assisted by community members and passing travelers, who provided support until medical help arrived.
Preliminary reports indicate that one of the young men suffered a complete severance of his leg due to the impact, with the limb reportedly stuck in the motorcycle. Both victims were rushed to the hospital in Ciénaga de Oro for emergency treatment.
