Discovery of Man’s Body Found Buried in Quarry in Itapetinga, Brazil
Itapetinga, Bahia, Brazil – The body of a 36-year-old man named Fábio Marreco dos Santos was found buried in a quarry located in a densely forested area. The condition of his face was severely disfigured, making it challenging for authorities to initially identify him.
According to the police, dos Santos was abducted following a home invasion in the early hours of the past Saturday. Investigators believe that he might have been targeted by criminals due to his alleged reporting of a nearby drug trafficking location.
Law enforcement is currently carrying out a forensic investigation and following leads to apprehend those responsible for this heinous crime.
