A 48-year-old man identified as Ramesh S. was killed in Deoria, Uttar Pradesh, after being run over by a truck while lying on the road. He had been visiting relatives in the area. Security camera footage showed him stumbling before lying down on the roadway. A police officer on a motorcycle stopped near him but did not instruct him to move. Minutes later, a reversing truck ran over Ramesh S., killing him instantly. The truck driver was arrested.
