63-Year-Old Grandmother in Lampung Tragically Killed by Wild Elephant Herd, Body Dismembered
In a tragic event, Suarni (63), a resident of Pekon Gunung Doh, Bandar Negeri Semuong District, Tanggamus Regency, Lampung, was fatally attacked and killed by a group of wild elephants in her own home.
Reports from witnesses and videos shared on social media depict the damage caused by the elephants that came from the Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park. The videos show Suarni’s house completely destroyed, with parts of her body sadly found nearby. This distressing incident sheds light on the escalating conflict between humans and wildlife in the area.
