Five Bodies Found Under Overpass in Salamanca, Two Decapitated
In Salamanca, Guanajuato, on February 8th, authorities discovered five men’s bodies under an overpass. Among the victims, two were found decapitated, while the rest had their hands tied. A narcomensaje, believed to be a cartel warning associated with the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel (CSRL), was hanging from the bridge. The message seemed to be directed at the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). This gruesome incident sheds light on the violent power struggle ongoing between criminal groups in the area.
