In a shocking incident in East Delhi’s Dallupura village, 28-year-old Pawan Kumar allegedly shot himself in the chest with a licensed pistol owned by his cousin Himanshu. The entire act was captured on video by Himanshu on his mobile phone. In the footage, Pawan loads the magazine, cocks the pistol, places it against his left chest, smiles at the camera, and pulls the trigger, causing blood to gush from the wound as he collapses. Himanshu is heard instructing “Click the button, it will go inside” and later shouting in shock “Bhai, kya kar diya tune?” (Brother, what have you done?). Pawan was rushed to Dharamshila Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. Police have registered a case under Section 105 BNS and Arms Act provisions, seized the pistol, cartridges, and phone with the graphic video (now viral), and are investigating all angles.
