On June 16, 2025, a gruesome incident unfolded at a railway station in Blagoveshchensk, Russia, when a 22-year-old woman was decapitated by a moving train after reportedly lying down on the tracks in an apparent suicide.
According to Amur.info, citing local transport police, the young woman positioned herself on the tracks just as the train was departing toward Tynda. Despite her initial presence on the platform, she was later found lying across the rails.
Railway staff discovered the headless body shortly after the impact and began collecting the severed head and remains, documenting the horrific scene with photographs as part of the post-incident protocol.
The case is currently under investigation. Authorities have yet to disclose the identity of the victim or the motives behind her fatal decision.
